In 1983, Glen Armand started  his dreams of building furnititure.

Growing up with his father Wallace Armand a second generation craftsman, and assisting his grandfather Flourian Armand in his furniture shop after school helped plant the seed for third generation craftsman Glen Armand.

Starting in a one car garage behind his house, he has continued to grow into one of Louisiana’s most revered furniture craftsmen. Restoring antiques gave Glen the opportunity to learn design, construction, form, and finishing from the unheralded and distinguished master craftsmen of generations before.

Using time-tested techniques and materials, Glen and his team of craftsmen create and build furniture and cabinets with the patience and tradition of old world masters.

Our company works with the knowledge, that each craftsman is creating an original hand crafted piece one at a time, just for you.
We don’t limit ourselves to a particular type or design. Our goal is to create just what you desire the way you like and make it a pleasant experience. After all, you are our advertising.

Glen Armand Furniture builds all types of furniture including fine period antique reproductions, traditional and contemporary, art deco, Biedermeier, Louisiana plantation style and more. Our work can be seen in New Orleans at the Louisiana State Museum, The Cabildo (where the Louisiana Purchase Documents were signed), the International House Hotel, The Loft Suites Hotel, and in Baton Rouge throughout the Louisiana Governors Mansion as well as many fine homes throughout the country.

Located in the heart of Louisiana, our new facility enables seven craftsmen their own benches to craft solid wood into your dreams. Each piece is then sent to our finishing technicians next door to receive one of our beautiful hand rubbed finishes.

Our work doesn’t stop here. After spending many hours crafting and finishing your furniture, we want it to arrive at your door in perfect condition. Each piece is blanket- wrapped for delivery to your door in our region. A blanket-wrapped nation-wide delivery is also available with our shipping partner. Our limited lifetime warranty assures you that our commitment to quality has you in mind.
